Where are we based?
Mapping Your Travel is an independent travel agency based in Mevagissey, Cornwall. We have lived in the beautiful harbourside village of Mevagissey for the last ten years. We absolutely love living next to the sea.
Mevagissey itself is a fantastic place to visit if you are in Cornwall. It has an inner and an outer harbour, with one of the largest fishing fleets in Cornwall. You can go on a boat trip around the bay or a thrilling rib ride in the tourist season. Sit on the harbour wall with a Cornish icecream and look out for our resident seal. Walk along the coast path and you will reach Polstreath, Mevagissey’s hidden beach…the walk down the steps isn’t for the faint hearted! Nicola has to carry her dog down! I love walking past the colourful houses on the cliff and through the many laneways.
Where do we work?
We don’t have a traditional travel agency shop in Mevagissey. Instead, we have chosen to work from our homes. This gives us the flexibility we need for family life and also the freedom to travel and experience new destinations!
We love to meet with our customers/potential clients over a zoom call. Also, we meet up with clients across Cornwall. Usually in a café setting. Sometimes we do travel pop-ups and we also exhibit at wedding fairs in Cornwall.
Who runs Mapping Your Travel?
Our family run independent travel agency is run by myself (Sarah) and my sister Nicola. Our mum Sally also helps create website content.
Are we safe to book with?
Absolutely!
Our travel agency is a member of Hays Travel Independence Group. In a nutshell, this means we can only book with reputable suppliers. All our holidays are ABTA protected.
ABTA protection is designed to enforce standards and provide insurance for holidaymakers in the event of financial problems for travel companies.
Our holidays also have ATOL protection. ATOL is the UK's financial protection scheme and protects you when you book a holiday with a UK ATOL holder. It ensures you do not lose money or become stranded abroad if your ATOL holder collapses.
All deposits and balances are paid to Hays Travel direct, which means that your monies are also protected.

As members of Hays Travel Independence Group we are partnered with hundreds of suppliers. We also use our in house tour operator to package long-haul holidays.

Bristol Airport
We package holidays across Europe and further afield from Bristol airport.
Including Malta, Madeira, Cape Verde, Turkey, Spain, Croatia, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Montenegro, France, Andorra, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria & many other destinations.
