Larger cruise ships visiting Chania generally dock at Souda Bay, around 7 km from the Old Town, with buses or shuttles providing connections into the centre.

Mountain Walks, Gorges & Outdoor Adventures

Beyond the coast, Crete’s dramatic mountains, fertile valleys and spectacular gorges offer plenty of opportunities for active days outdoors.
