The third largest island, the most populous, and home to the beachside capital Honolulu. The North Shore is famous for surfing, with the Banzai pipeline having waves which can exceed 20 feet.

Other activities include kayaking, snorkelling, paddle boarding, tubing, hiking, biking and horseback riding.

It’s probably the most metropolitan island and the best island for nightlife and shopping, with
Waikiki beach having the most hotels. History lovers head to the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl
Harbour and Iolani palace, the only royal palace in America. Hike to Maunawili Falls, Diamond Head and Makapuu Point and explore the botanical gardens at Kaneohe.

This laid-back island is relatively undeveloped, with outstanding natural beauty: tropical rainforests, lush valleys, rugged cliffs and magnificent mountains all waiting to be explored…no surprise it has some of the best hiking in the world!

It’s the 4th largest island and the furthest north. The beaches are superb, ranging from calmer, family friendly swimming at Ke’e beach to awesome surfing beaches as at Waimea Bay. There is even a beach made of sea glass!

Hike the 10 mile Waimea canyon, also known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’ and the Nounou trails. Explore Hanakapiai Falls which have a 300 foot drop and the Na Pali coast, or take a helicopter ride or boat tour to fully appreciate its beauty.

Activities on Kauai include kayaking the rivers, horseback riding, snorkelling, fishing and ziplining through the rainforest! There is also a rich, local culture waiting to be discovered. Kauai is the location of blockbuster films, such as Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, so get ready to follow in their footsteps!

This is the 2nd largest island and known for its diverse landscapes and wonderful beaches. A tranquil, relaxing and romantic destination, it nonetheless has much to offer. There are red, white and black sands, jungles, mountains…

Activities include swimming, surfing, snorkelling, paddleboarding, hiking and helicopter rides. You can also try whale watching in winter. If you feel brave, drive the ‘road to Hana’ for outstanding views and stop offs. Also explore the lush Iao valley.

This is the youngest and largest island and has the most volcanic activity. The landscape is as diverse as its climate! The east coast (Hilo) tends to be the sunniest and known for its beaches, shopping and whale watching in season.

The west (Kona) has rainforest hikes, history and waterfalls. Head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for the active Mauna Kea and Maunaloa volcanoes. Beaches range from world class white sands, as at Mauna Kea, to the black sands of Punaluu. Water sports, hiking, golfing, cycling and horseback riding are all popular.

The world-famous telescopes at Mauna Kea summit offer opportunity for star gazing and spectacular sunsets.

Day 1: Fly to Honolulu (Oahu) via L.A.

Spend the next 2 nights in a stunning front line hotel on Waikiki beach.

Day 2: A tour to see Pearl Harbour.

Day 3: Fly to Kauai, famous for being a Jurassic Park film location! Pick up your hire car from the airport and drive to your hotel.

Spend the next 3 nights at a delightful beachfront resort.

Day 4: A boat trip to a boat trip to the scenic Na Pali Coast, an area of natural beauty. A perfect location for snorkeling.

Day 5: Go hiking through the National Park or have a beach day!

Day 6: Fly to Big Island.

Pick up your hire car and head to your historical hotel, located in the heart of the National Park on the eastern coast. Spend the next two nights here.

Day 7: A private guide will guide you around this incredible volcanic scenery!
