The Jamu lodge sits alongside the Cuyabeno River, in the centre of the Ecuadorian rainforest, close to the incredible Laguna Grande. This eco-lodge was built from local materials with wooden walls and high thatched roofs. It's a striking building which blends in perfectly with the surrounding jungle. Enjoy beautiful food served in the large dining room, then relax with a cocktail while swaying from a hammock!

Day 3: Domestic flight to Coca in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest. Transfer to your jungle lodge by boat to the fantastic Jamu eco-lodge.

Day 4 & 5: Journey into the rainforest with your guide for a range of excursions. An unforgettable experience!

Day 6: Regional flight back to Quito. Rest for the evening at an airport hotel.

Day 7-9: Regional flight to the Galapagos. Enjoy a land based Galapagos stay. See unique wildlife, snorkel, visit different islands.

Day 10: Fly back to Quito for your connecting flight back to the UK.

When To Visit

You can visit ant time of the year.
The Ecuadorian Amazon is hot and humid.
Temperatures on average range from 23 to 36°C.
Rainfall normally happens in the afternoon and evenings.

It rains more from the end of February to July. However, you will be able to access more waterways. (more mosquitoes)
Dry Season is end of July to February.
