Day 1: You've arrived in Ecuador at the port city of Guayaquil, the gateway to The Galapagos. Transfer to a fashionable hotel in the heart of the city.
Day 2: Domestic flight to The Galapagos, which are about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador.
Baltra/Daphne Major
The guide and crew will welcome you on board M/V Evolution, a stunning yacht, carrying a maximum of 32 passengers.
The adventure starts with a cirumnavigation of Daphne Major.
Day 3: Isabela Island/Fernandina Island
A thrilling zodiac ride into a partially sunken volcano! Swim and snorkel for opportunities to see turtles, penguins and even seahorses!
Then, on Fernandina you will explore thestriking landscape of the lava fields. Home to large colonies of marine iguanas.
Cross the Bolivar Channel.
Day 4: Isabela Island
The largest island in The Galapagos. Hike to the base of the Alcedo Volcano. Witness giant tortoises, land iguanas and much more. Then another adventure on a zodiac to Tagus Cove, on the look out for penguins, pelicans and cormorants.
Day 5: Bartolome/ Santiago Island
Hike to the top of a dormant volcano for epic vistas of this lunar like landscape. If anyone doesn't fancy walking, they can enjoy the view from the zodiac on a tour around the island. Swim and snorkel, see penguins and sea lions.
Day 6: Santa Cruz Island
Visit the coraline Bachas Beach. Hopefully you will see sea turtles laying their eggs. There are also remants here from WW2. Look for Sally Lightfoot crabs!
A guided kayak excursion...blue footed boobies and pelicans.
Day 7: Santa Cruz Island
Visit the beautiful port of Puerto Ayora, which offers restaurants and shopping! Visit the Wild Tortoise Reserve in the highlands.
Day 8: Espanola Island
Lots of unusual wildlife on this southerly island. Enjoy a zodiac ride near a sea lion colony and walk along the cliffs looking for albatrosses, hawks and mockingbirds.
Day 9: San Cristobel and Guayaquil
Visit the Interpretation Centre to learn more about the fascinating Galapagos Islands. Fly to Guayaquil before catching your flight back to the UK.
