Day 1: San Cristobel.
Arrive and board Silver Origin. Sail near Kicker Rock. Look for blue-footed & Nazca boobies & sea lions.
Day 2: Isla Bartolome
The ship anchors near the volcanic, lunar-like landscape at Sullivan Bay. Board a zodiac to reach the shore and climb up several hundred steps to a boardwalk. From here you should see lava lizards! Epic views!
If you don't fancy the walk, you can always enjoy a zodiac boat ride.
Later in the day you will reach Buccaneer Cove and explore by zodiac. Look for blue footed boobies, sea turtles and reef sharks.
Day 3: Isla Isabela and Fernandina
Head to one of the best marine sites on the island. Deep water snorkelling is possible here. Hopefully you will see brown noodies, marine iguanas and Galapagos penguins.
Later in the day see hundreds of marine iguanas basking on the black lava rock on Fernandina. Bright red Sally Lightfoot crabs will also be scuttling by!
Day 4: Isla Isabela
Follow a trail through a forest to Darwin Lake. You should see several land birds on your hike, including finches and Galapagos Hawks.
Then, head to the mangroves of Elizabeth Bay. This bay is used for turtles for resting and feeding.
Day 5: Floreana
Swim or snorkel from the famous Post Office Bay.
Then head out 700m to Champion Islet; a marine site. You can see many seabirds here...and it's possible to see the rare Floreana mockingbird.
Finally, head to the most northerly part of the island; Punta Cormorant. Follow a short trail from the beach to a lagoon full of flamingoes!
Day 6: Santa Cruz Highlands
In the morning you will reach the highlands, due to the altitude this part of The Galapagos feels very different! See giant land tortoises. (hiking expedition)
In the afternoon, the Silver Origin docks right in front of the Charles Darwin research centre. Learn about how the islands are protected. Free time in the local town, a perfect place to hunt for gifts!
Day 7: Santa Cruz
A walk around Cerro Dragon-a great place to see Sally lightfoot crabs scuttling around. Look out for flamingoes in the lagoon and Galapagos land lizards on the volcanic rock.
In the afternoon, you will arrive at Isla Guy Fawkes. This is a group of 4 small islets that offer some of the best deep water snorkelling. You may see sharks or manta rays!
Then head to a beautiful white coraline beach of Bahia Borrero. It is used as a nesting site for green turtles.
