The Azores: A Corporate Incentive Trip for a Book Publisher
We were approached to plan a five-night incentive trip to the Azores for their group.
Their brief was to find boutique-style accommodation, include interesting excursions and allow plenty of time for relaxation.
We recommended a renovated boutique hotel in the historic centre of Ponta Delgada, giving the group a comfortable base within easy reach of local restaurants, shops and places to explore independently.
We then created an itinerary combining shared experiences with free time.
The group’s itinerary included:
Whale and dolphin watching: A catamaran excursion to look for marine wildlife with an experienced local team.
Furnas: A day exploring the island’s volcanic landscapes, including a visit to Terra Nostra Garden.
Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo: An excursion through some of São Miguel’s most striking scenery.
Free time in Ponta Delgada: An opportunity for the group to enjoy the city at their own pace.
The result was an itinerary designed around the client’s brief, with a mix of activities, exploration and downtime.
For our client, Finix Group Ltd, we helped organise a group trekking adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro.
Nicola drew on her own experience of trekking Kilimanjaro’s Marangu Route while working with our travel suppliers to plan the group’s journey.
A mountain trek involves important decisions about the route, itinerary, accommodation and time spent at altitude. We helped bring the travel arrangements together so the group could focus on preparing for their adventure.
